Lego Heights Fire Station (No.5) Smokey Creek Road, Lego Heights
Lego Heights Fire station is located in the suburb of Lego Heights, which is located 10 mins north of the Lego Lakes township. It is the last Fire Station in the Lego Lakes Fire District that still has Volunteer firefighters. There are currently 6 active Volunteer Fire fighters who live in the area and respond to fire calls via Alpha Numeric Pagers, activated by Fire Com.
The Lego Heights Fire Station also has two career Firefighters being 1 x Fire Officer and 1 x leading Firefighter per Shift.
The Volunteer fire fighters are paid a small sum of money for each hour that they attend calls. Training is conducted once a week, is compulsory, and Volunteers are not paid for attending.
Fire Station 5
Lego Heights Fire Station is a three bay, double story station, that was constructed in 1974. Its interior was renovated in 1998, and the external facade restored in 1999 to preserve the history of the Lego Heights Fire Station.

Pumper 5
Pumper 5 is a Type 1 Heavy Pumper. It has a 1500lt water Tank, a 25 lt Class A & 300 lt Class B Foam Tank. The Pump is a Darley rear-mounted single stage centrifugal pump with 2nd stage high pressure pump. Pump capacity 3800 L/min at 1000 kPa.
Water Tanker 5
Water Tanker 5 is a Type 2, 4WD, Water Tanker. It has 3500lt Water tank, a 50 lt Class A Foam tank & 4 20lt drums of Class B Foam. The Pump is a GAAM 10D two stage centrifugal pump. This pump has a capacity of 1300 L/min at 1000 kPa.
Pumper-Tanker 5
Pumper Tanker 5 Is a Type 1 Pumper Tanker. It has a 3000lt Water Tank, a 50 lt Class A & 300 lt Class B Foam Tank. The pump is a Darley rear-mounted parallel-series centrifugal pump with third stage high pressure pump. Pump capacity 3800 L/min at 1000 kPa.
Quick Attact 5
Quick Attack 5 is a fast responce Brush Fire appliance. It has a 500lt Water Tank and the Pump is a GAAM 10D single stage centrifugal pump. This pump has a capacity of 950 L/min at 700 kPa.
The Quick-Fill pump is a trailer mounted GAAM 10D two stage centrifugal pump. This pump has a capacity of 1300 L/min at 1000 kPa.
